Froidevaux Group History

history
  • 1967
    The story of the Group commenced when François Froidevaux founded the company Froidevaux SA in 1967 in Renan, Switzerland.
  • 1997
    Starting 1997, the company is managed by the next generation, represented by Didier and Gilles Froidevaux.
  • 1998
    Froidevaux America Inc has been established in Canada in 1998.
  • 2005
    In 2005, Froidevaux SA acquires the company Procolor LCTI, specialised in pad-printing and timepieces varnishing.
  • 2017
    In 2017, the ISO 9001 certification is implemented for Froidevaux SA.
  • 2018
    2018 is a transition year full of changes.
    • Procolor LCTI is sold.
    • Didier Froidevaux founds the Froidevaux Group under the holding company Fidantzia which acquires a precision engineering company, Montanari SA in La Chaux-de-Fonds.
    • The third generation joins the Group with Cévan Froidevaux who takes over the management of Montanari SA.
    • The set-up of a new company FCDH Aciers starts in June.
  • 2019
    Montanari and FCDH Aciers move to our new building in Saint-Imier. Montanari takes over the production workshop of the Roland Iten brand and acquires know-how and skills in the luxury sector.
  • 2020
    The Froidevaux Group and its three companies are ISO 9001:2015 certified.

  • The Froidevaux Group is growing. Indeed, during the last 18 months, the number of employees has increased of more than 58%. The aim is to reach around 40 employees in 2021.
  • We are planning the ISO 9100 certification for Montanari by 2021.
  • In 2020, we keep working on reducing our environmental footprint.
